( perhaps it's because damian views jason as - someone like himself. a trained assassin once disowned. someone who needs to hold back constantly to fit within the restraints of bruce's vision for his family. it's not necessarily a bad thing, for todd to be as he is. it's just - not what damian would expect, nor what he would see himself becoming. )
I can't imagine a world in which that would be correct.
( either damian's parentage would be different, or his parents' circumstances would be different - either way, damian wouldn't be damian at that point. )
